THE THUNDER BEAN
Astronomers estimate that about 30 thunderbeans fall to earth each century. This one fell on a poor woman in Naples in 1959. But, before she could boil it to feed her family, she won the National Lottery and became rich. The Thunderbean thus became sterile, as they only work for poor people.
The tins of Thunderbean Stew are, of course, ersatz. They are made from ordinary boiled meteorite and soya texturing.
